The property it’s located 100 m west of Cabuya Bakery, walking distance from Cabuya beach, restaurants, cafes and supermarkets, sits between lovely neighbors in one of the nicest areas of the town.

The project consists of two houses, both are open concept. The main house has two floors, island kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms, bathtub, walking closet, one full open bedroom, front and back terrace.

The second one is a little apartment with bathroom, outside shower, and terrace deck.

Both houses were completely remodeled and refurbished, the main one was rebuilt from scratch with Cedro Amargo wood, know for its beauty and amazing resistance to insects, both electric and mechanical systems were completely updated too. The main goal of the project was to preserve its historic local architecture in a sustainable way that is both passive, nature friendly and healthy. Native trees and fruit plants were reforested on site to contribute for the regeneration of the land.

Cabuya is one of the last hidden treasures in Costa Rica, home to our first national reserve Cabo Blanco, it’s refuge for almost every wild animal left in our rainforests and in the oceans, whales, dolphins, jaguars, deers, monkeys, parrots, eagles account for just small part of the total, it’s base for a wild range of local made products and one of the best places for artisanal fishing. It has a range of surf waves, dozens of waterfalls and trails to explore between the jungle.
