Location

Santa Teresa is situated on the western side of the Nicoya Peninsula, facing the Pacific Ocean.

While the area in general is often referred to by this name, Santa Teresa proper is defined as the area along the stretch of beach that starts near the town’s soccer field, and ends at a rocky point landmark known as “El Peñon.”
